1. Thirty-three counties exceed the statewide self-response rate. As of Thursday, October 8^th, 63.2% of households across North Carolina have responded to the Census. Approximately one-third of NC’s counties exceed this self-response rate. These counties are distributed across the state and include some rural areas.
2. Only thirty counties now exceed their 2010 self-response rate. 
3. Nearly 4 in 10 North Carolina households have been counted during Non–Response Follow-Up (NRFU). 36.5% of North Carolina housing units have been counted during NRFU, above the national average of 33.1%. North Carolina ranks 16^th among the fifty states in its share of NRFU households.
