Christopher Busbin
Web Developer
Chris works with the Carolina Demography team to develop and implement useful and effective websites and web assets. A web designer and front end developer, Chris is passionate about designing products and services that support organizational goals and add value for end users.
Chris brings a fusion of interface design and software development skills to his work for a user-experience driven approach to web development. Before joining Carolina Demography and the research services IT group at the Carolina Population Center, Chris worked with start-ups at the Innovation Depot tech incubator as a developer and web consultant and created websites for a major dance studio chain.
Before beginning his career as a web developer, Chris was a professional dancer and dance sport competitor for a number of years, becoming a regional champion and national finalist in his division. He also holds a degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
