Elliot Kent, Ph.D.
Project Manager
Elliot Kent has an extensive background in operations and project management, as well as social science, local government and private business. He has managed IT projects for some of America’s largest companies, including ten years serving as a senior IT infrastructure PM at Citigroup.
Since joining Carolina Demography in 2017, he has managed both our projects and day-to-day operations, working extensively with clients to develop projects that meet their needs, fit their budgets and deliver as promised with the highest quality.
Dr. Kent earned his PhD in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has taught local government, policy analysis, public administration and research methods at several universities including North Carolina A&T State and Baruch College and served ten years as a manager and policy analyst in New York City government.
