Director of Communications
Melody Kramer is the Director of Communications for both the Carolina Population Center and Carolina Demography. In previous roles, Mel led teams and projects in the federal government, at global non-profits, and at local and national media organizations, where she received several honors including a Nieman Fellowship and a Peabody. Her work has appeared on NPR, and in various publications, including National Geographic, Esquire Magazine, and Gizmodo. She loves exploring North Carolina with her family.
