As a Research Analyst at Carolina Demography, Thomas focuses primarily on data analysis and visualization to help identify important trends in population-level data.
Thomas recently began his career at the Carolina Population Center after a 10-month stint as a John M. Belk Impact Fellow, where he was mentored by Rebecca Tippett. He received his Master of Public Administration, dual concentrating in Public and Environmental Policy Analysis, from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW). He also holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Sciences from the same institution.
