NC in Focus: Who are NC’s Democratic voters?

As of October 1st, North Carolina had 5.6 million active, registered voters. Of these, 2.2 million or 40% were registered as a Democrat. County Characteristics of Registered Voters

The deadline to register to vote for tomorrow’s election was Friday, October 10, 2014. Just over 6.6 million voters registered in time for Election Day, according to data from the North Carolina State Board of Elections. Statewide, 42% of voters are registered Democrats.
